Pastors were obedient to God and sold their business and settled with their family in Fort Bend County.  Growing up in Louisiana, Gwen and Ladell were determined to pursue God's assignment. 

Both Gwen and Ladell grew up in Louisiana, graduated from both Southern University and Abundant Life School of Ministry together.  They believe the church should be the Epicenter of life – giving birth to some of the world’s most creative ideas and being the solution to life’s challenges, from family to career and beyond.

Ladell rose to the top of Wall Street as a manager of a $10.2 billion investment fund, second largest in the country.  He moved to Houston and co-founded Smith, Graham & Company Investment Advisors, L.P., a premier fixed-income management company with over $2.5 billion of assets.  Ladell served as president and chief investment officer of the company.  His clients included a "Who's Who" of the nations’ top corporations and municipalities.

Ladell has been featured in numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, Black Enterprise magazine, Pensions and Investments magazine and on NBC's special, Succeeding Against the Odds.  He has received numerous awards and honors including being listed in Who's Who Worldwide.

Ladell is a Managing Partner of Ambassador Development Group, a private equity firm.

Gwen and Ladell have 3 adult children.  As lead pastors, both are dynamic speakers who can inspire and empower their audience to action.
